Our Kimberley Training Institute values support our students. We offer a range of services available to assist you in adapting to the learning environment. We encourage students to work in partnership with lecturers and collaboratively choose their subjects.
Students experiencing stress, having difficulty coping with workloads, relationships, accommodation or life in general and who would like someone to talk to in a friendly confidential environment, can contact 1300 996 573 and ask to speak with our liaison and support team. We have a dedicated staff member just for trainees and apprentices.
The Kimberley Training Institute is committed to providing quality vocational education and training for all students, including people with disabilities and medical conditions. If you have specific learning needs or support requirements, contact our Disability Services Officer on 1300 996 573 before commencement of study.
There are Aboriginal Liaison Officers and Aboriginal Development Officers based at each campus who provide assistance to Aboriginal students with regard to personal matters, career opportunities and training, and course information. These staff members also provide advice to Kimberley Training Institute on cultural matters as well as identifying training and community development needs.
